A strategy to meet the challenges of globalization
The CentraleSupélec is one of the world’s leading institutions of excellence and ranks among the top engineering schools globally. To further strengthen its competitiveness, it has implemented a development strategy built around three key pillars:
CENTRALESUPELC
The merger between the two major Parisian engineering schools, Centrale and Supelec, has made it possible to create an entity capable of awarding some 1,000 engineering degrees per year, as well as 700 Master’s, Master’s and Doctorate degrees. The new CentraleSupelec package achieves an important size equivalent to the best international Schools of Engineering in the world.
PARIS SACLAY UNIVERSITY
By joining the University Paris SACLAY, which brings together nearly 20 leading institutions to the south of Paris (Polytechnique, HEC, University d’Orsay, etc.), CentraleSupelec is part of a large university group with a high international profile, particularly in terms of research. Publications under the single University Paris SACLAY brand name will boost greater visibility in international rankings. Our ambition is to rank among the world’s top 20 institutions.

INTERNATIONAL NETWORK OF CENTRAL SCHOOLS
The deployment of the Central brand internationally, by opening Central Schools in the emerging countries and continents that will count tomorrow. It is in this spirit that the Central school in Beijing opened in 2005, Mahindra-School Centrale in Hyderabad, India in 2014 and Central school Casablanca in September 2015. Closely linked to CentraleSupelec, these schools aim to attract the best students from these countries, and to globalize the Centrale label.
