Modeling the behavior of elastomer-type materials or soft biological tissues in finite transformations is becoming increasingly common in the process of sizing industrial parts or simulating the behavior of biological organs or tissues. However, the complexity of these behaviors, and the need to master their mechanisms, means that sophisticated and reliable models are required, especially when it comes to the behavior of safety-related parts in the industrial sector, or vital organs in the health sector. This workshop aims to bring together the community of industry and university researchers interested in modeling these behaviors. It will review recently developed research and applications for modeling mechanical and biological systems.
