The ‘Complex Systems and Interactions’ Research Center at École Centrale Casablanca brings together teacher-researchers, associated researchers, and 14 doctoral students from various scientific backgrounds. With a focus on engineering sciences, this research is underpinned by interdisciplinary research activities in partnership with the socio-economic and academic worlds (notably within the Ecoles Centrales Group).
The center brings together, around the theme of characterization and modeling of complex systems and interactions, 4 Thematic Teaching and Research Units (UTER) and a Chair of Social and Human Sciences Research (SHS). The members of these research structures develop various disciplinary research programs to strengthen their standing within their peer communities and remain connected to their main thematic concerns. They actively contribute to the development of interdisciplinary research, with a strong focus on the socio-economic world, to model complex systems, understand their reality, organization, functioning, and support their development.
