SanaMed, a startup backed by Morocco’s Hospitals and Ambulatory Care Department, develops solutions based on automatic natural language processing (NLP) to solve problems linked to the digitization of medical data.
Their tools include an instant keyword search, a specialized dashboard offering simplified visualization of relevant data, and a secure exchange channel between doctors.
The SanaMed team, made up of engineers, a cardiologist, an entrepreneur and a university professor, is working on a test version to be deployed in clinics and private healthcare establishments.
Their initiative aims to facilitate access to and analysis of medical data, saving doctors time in their search for essential information.
This innovative solution offers a secure platform based on automated language processing (NLP), giving doctors access to an ergonomic dashboard that extracts essential information from their patients’ medical records. These files can be complex, often accompanied by numerous PDF files of dozens of pages. Thanks to SanaMed, doctors can save at least ten minutes per patient, enabling them to devote this precious time to themselves or their patients every day.

Discover Nooba: Improve your walk-in medical care experience
Statistics revealed by a survey of ECC students: 70% received health care from healthcare professionals without an appointment. However, walk-in clinics and their waiting rooms pose health and convenience problems for patients. We believe the situation can be greatly improved.
Nooba offers you an innovative solution. We provide medical practices, clinics and hospitals with a virtual queuing system based on QR codes. Thanks to this technology, you can anticipate waiting time, go about your business and avoid being confined to a waiting room where potential virus carriers may be present.
For doctors, Nooba automates waiting room management and generates valuable statistics on patient numbers. In addition, we have developed a pre-consultation questionnaire enabling patients to explain their medical history, treatments and symptoms. This enables doctors to focus immediately on the essentials, saving precious time during the preliminary interview. In a context where doctors are in short supply, increasing their productivity is essential.
Nooba therefore enhances your experience of walk-in medical care, while making doctors’ work easier and more efficient. What’s more, our system provides global statistics that enable us to better anticipate health problems across the entire healthcare system.
